When Kayla Filoon, a scholar who volunteers as a doggy walker at an animal shelter in Philadelphia, saw Russ the pit bull for the 1st time, she understood there was a particular link between them. “He came in as a stray, and he was really defeat up,” Filoon told The Dodo. “He was lacking fur on his tail and ears. He was also terribly skinny.” The 20-yr-outdated lady added: “He was just sitting there calmly, staring at me… And I thought… I require to choose him now.”
