A new Instagram account by Australian artist Damien Rudd, @sadtopographies, is collecting Google Map screenshots of the world’s grimmest-sounding spots, which can make for an excellent selection of strange vacation locations.

“In Australia, like the US and Canada, there are a lot of depressing area names that are related to the dark background of early colonialism, and the mishaps of explorers and settlers,” Rudd informed Quartz.
