Months ago I had envisioned a newborn set up with a fox flower crown. I was inspired by the beautiful orange red shade of some wool roving I came across. I made the fox and flower crown by hand and decided my little fox should be peaking out of a cotton field.

Months ago I had envisioned a newborn set up with a fox flower crown. I was inspired by the beautiful orange red shade of some wool roving I came across. I made the fox and flower crown by hand and decided my little fox should be peaking out of a cotton field.

Since cotton fields are not baby friendly, and we don’t have many of them in Japan, I settled for some dried cotton. I took these photos at the beginning of this week of a baby girl named Freya. Today I saw

Photo Vide’s post about an actual fox named Freya! I thought it was just adorable that this little fox and sweet baby share such a beautiful name.
