Self-taught photographer Iwona Podlasińska is the mother of two boys, so it is no shock that she’d want to document their young lives hence much. But alternatively than snap ordinary childhood photos, Podlasińska infuses a little bit of magic into her portraits—no distinctive results required. In its place, she captures the little ones as they check out the likes of glittering, sunlight-soaked landscapes and blustery winter season scenes, generally accompanied with a furry pal or two. The final results are picturesque storybook times seemingly frozen in time.

Podlasińska is an architect by teaching, and she determined to study pictures as soon as she experienced her oldest son. She honed her craft at night time, opting to study by capturing manually on “cheap cameras.” Now, she employs a mirrorless digital digicam, but that has not improved her fundamental technique to producing the idyllic photos.

“To get meaningful photos of young children I have to hold my intellect focused on them,” she tells Flickr. “It’s a lot simpler when I remind myself how I felt as a little one and how I felt about the environment.” The enjoyment and marvel they sense from exploring or discovering anything new is practically palpable. Coupled with stunning landscapes, you will get swept up in these enchanting scenes.

Architect by teaching, Iwona Podlasińska acquired pictures to capture enchanting childhood photos of her two sons.
