We’ve all heard of couples finding married on the beach, but what about in the water? It is basically unheard of. But which is exactly what bride Susana Zamos and her groom Jovany did their water wedding day was carried out in the middle of the Caribbean Sea in Cozumel, Mexico. Surrounded by one hundred mates and loved ones, they stood totally clad—and waist deep–in the crystal distinct water.


It comes as no surprise that this unique ceremony was challenging to pull off. “We experienced a wedding day planner who instructed us: ‘you can not get married in the ocean, it is significantly also sophisticated,’” Zamos recalled. “So we imagined, ok, we’ll get married on the beach like absolutely everyone else.”






But, when photographer Sol Tamargo (of Del Sol Photography) heard their idea, she persuaded them or else. “She instructed us ‘you HAVE to do it! You have to get married in the water, it will be Wonderful!’ This total eyesight all arrived about for the reason that of Sol… she’s the 1 who turned the desire into a actuality!” And incredible it was, at the time they figured out the logistics. For Tamargo, getting the suitable tools took demanding preparing. “We [the Del Sol staff] were flying a drone from a moving boat, I was shooting with 2 substantial underwater housings, it was technically was really tough as I couldn’t genuinely see.”


Tamargo also acknowledges the exhilaration that this endeavor brought. “I was shooting from the boat, then I jumped into the water putting on a snorkel, mask and wetsuit and mermaid cap in the middle of a wedding day!” Tamargo exclaimed. “When do you ever get to do a thing like that?!”

The resulting images are incredible. Taken the two above and beneath the water, they present the bride floating down the “aisle” in a beautiful peach colored gown that appears properly at home in the ocean. Foregoing a veil, she opted for a regal

seashell crown.

In the end, the total wedding day reflected Zamos’ near ties to the ocean. “I have usually loved the water,” the bride spelled out. “I’m a scuba diver and was fortuitous adequate to develop up with a pool in the yard and the sea not considerably away.
