In a new series of drawings, Ward called "Alt Disney", he links the storylines of several classic Disney movies to modern social issues, creating a dark but intriguing view of reality through the eyes of our fictional childhood heroes. The images give a powerful comment about water pollution, animal insults, obsession with technology and a number of other items that seem to indicate that although the Disney world is full of magic and happy endings, the world in which we live has serious problems. This should be discussed.
