Photographer Wei Xiaohui spent a month removing the spiral staircases at every college based in Nanjing Province, the capital of Jiangsu Province in eastern China. He found 30 spiral staircases in total and made these photographs a collection that remembers the life of the campus. Wei believes that the spiral staircase stands for the spirit of the struggle for dreams and moves forward.
"Young people can see hope in photography. I hope that they will be able to overcome every challenge in their lives, because each problem can be a chance to change, "Wei said.
Wei visited 15 colleges and 28 campuses in Nanjing and discovered 30 spiral staircases at the end.
