Throughout his career as an artist, born in Ukraine Zoya Cherkassky-Nnadi did not lack a public interest, critical approval or financial compensation. Her works have been shown in leading Israeli galleries for more than ten years. Her work is constantly covered in the media. And her sketches get from 5000 to five or six times more.

After her Russian immigration project, Zoya began to portray her childhood memories in the dying Soviet Union a few minutes before his disintegration. The works are focused on everyday life, and these are common, memorable details that are easily recognizable to the whole generation of people who grew up in the Soviet Union during this time. From typical clothing and textiles, familiar furniture and items, as well as from popular bands and TV shows.
After her first visit to the state of Enugu in Nigeria, her partner's hometown, in 2013 she lifted her brush and drew what she saw. Pictures illustrate everyday situations in the village, such as daytime sleep, watching television, family gatherings, the return of uncles from the diaspora and the local market.
The pictures of Enugu people are typical for the style of Cherkasy-Nnadi. Before this new work she painted daily scenes of Russian immigrants in Israel within the framework of the work entitled "Aliya 91", still lifes, nude and the peculiar image of "Uncle Yasha's Circumcision".
