In the Chinese city of Chengdu, lush lianas turned the busy 2nd ring road into a stunning green corridor.

The 28-kilometer overpass, built in 2013, was designed for bus express transit, serving more than 300,000 passengers every day. The flyover is supported by 4,280 pillars, all covered with a rich Boston Ivey, which was chosen for its effect when creating oxygen and lowering the temperature. Fresh greens added vitality to the specific jungle and woke the sleepy passengers on hot summer days.
