Sig Waller ("S.I.G." - "Spectrum Green" from Captain Scarlett and the Sacraments) introduces cute, kitsch happy houses of the type seen in the 1950s as illustrations of American dreams with an ominous and sombre-humorous gothic twist. Waller is disturbed by the conformist visions of post-Christian, formal internal bliss with a huge demonic creature made from the shadow that flows into the suburbs.

Waller's work is clever and tempting, which makes the audience grateful, but not shy - you do not look at the art and tyranny of the artist from self-righteousness and complacency; You just look at it. And I wonder what and why this is so. Transgressive visions of Waller are satirical and fascinating. Like a mother with her little yellow helpers, they leave you wanting more.
