Anya Wolfing adds large animals to the black and white scenes of old photographs found, distracting attention from the gloomy faces of her subjects and creatures that quite naturally stand behind her back.

Amazing inclusions are painted with Wolfin and often take the form of birds such as crows, owls, ducks and an occasional cock. Animals either join the members of the photo, or merge with their inhabitants, sometimes replacing the heads of these creatures, creating hybrid and humorous creatures.
